We believe there is a significant industry benefit to continuing SPCC and the Business of Cleans, and we have resolved to do our best to continue the 2020 conferences. Under the current circumstances Linx Consulting has made the decision to develop an alternative plan for holding the conferences in a virtual setting. Our goal is to share the keynote, invited and oral presentations virtually and also include Q&A opportunities as well as providing the technical content after presentation. We will also present the poster presentations virtually with opportunities to have individual conversations with the presenters and to download posters. Our sponsors will be present in a virtual exhibition to share and promote their company information and to meet with attendees in private chat rooms as desired. Breakout meeting rooms for attendees to introduce themselves and have discussions are an important part of the plan.
We hope that the virtual format will not only allow attendees to access the latest technology and learning, but also to offer opportunities to network and develop new contacts. By reducing the cost of attendance, we hope that we can also broaden the reach of the conference to all who have interest and allow those who would not normally travel the ability to attend. This change in conference presentation is exciting and we are delighted to be moving forward to meet the needs of all who have continued to be supportive of SPCC and Business of Cleans!
